Concours Vinalies 2017

Gold medal for Crémant Rosé Veuve Ambal

Created in 1994, the Concours des Vinalies® Internationales has established itself as one of the world’s great wine competitions.
Great not only for its longevity, celebrating its 22nd edition this year, but also for its renown.

The Vinalies® Internationales can be summed up in 6 words:

Passion is the driving force behind the Vinalies® Internationales during the 5 days of tasting in Paris, where the members of the jury meet. The jurors score and comment on all the samples presented. Each producer receives a general summary of their assessments.

Our 150-strong panel of tasters is made up of sensory analysis experts from all over the world. Nearly 40 nationalities are represented on the tasting panel, a diversity that also contributes to the uniqueness of the event.

Over the past 20 years, we’ve built up trust with French and international producers, who send us their wines every year. In all, over 3,500 samples are received in the hope of being awarded a Vinalies d’Or or a Vinalies d’Argent.

Impartiality set in place by an exclusively blind tasting, which is one of the primary characteristics of the Vinalies Internationales. There is no question of judging a brand or appellation, only the quality of the wine.

Professionalism recognized once again, and for six consecutive years, by the award of ISO 9001 v.2008 certification in compliance with the OIV standard for international competitions of wines and spirits of vitivinicultural origin, saluting the rigor, regularity and accuracy in every stage of its assembly.

Orchestrated organization for over 20 years. It’s a team effort in which every member contributes his or her expertise to meet every request, and every detail is important.
