FAMILLE PIFFAUT VINS ET DOMAINES ADDS A NEW STRING TO ITS BOW WITH BEAUNOISE MICROBREWERY BELENIUM

THE PIFFAUT FAMILY EXPANDS ITS CRAFT BEER OFFERING

The Piffaut family has become a majority shareholder in the Belenium craft brewery, created in 2014 in Beaune by Nicolas Seyve and two co-founders.
Aurélien Piffaut, Chairman of FPVD’s Management Board, and Nicolas Seyve, Belenium’s historic brewer, want to move forward hand in hand to increase the influence of this local beer, already well known to the people of Beaune.

Belenium is a brewery producing a range of artisanal beers in Beaune. It stands out for the quality and flavor of its products, the use of local resources and the combination of tradition and innovation – values shared by the Piffaut family and already embodied by all the group’s brands.

A STRONG BURGUNDY ANCHOR
As the historic cradle of the Piffaut family, Burgundy is, of course, its main area of development. The acquisition of Belenium confirms this strategy, reaffirms the company’s entrepreneurial dynamism and continues to consolidate its regional offering around Wines, Crémants, Spirits and – from now on – Burgundy Beer. The aim is to strengthen the group’s influence in France and internationally, and position it as an ambassador and key player in Burgundy wines, beers and spirits.
